This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes

**How you will contribute**

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting “make or buy” analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

This position will get focus to provide tactical support over the **Indirect Procurement Operational activities from the Monterrey & U.S. Sites **, by working along on coordination, with the Local Procurement Specialist (LPS) regarding the follow up implementation activities from a different number of Supply Chain Projects.

**What you need to know about this position**:
This position is physically based in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico, handling the INDIRECT PROCUREMENT working flow from the Monterrey Hub, which has 2 plants on the state (Plant Salinas & Plant Monterrey), along with some U.S. Sites as well.
You will be exposed to collaborate, with supply handling activities from International vendors, mainly Mexico & U.S.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic, Engineering, etc.
- Bachelor’s in business administration, International relations degree, or any other Management Administration Professional degree.

**Job specific requirements**:

- Fully Bilingual (Spanish & English) (To be able to maintain business conversations, Oral & Written)
- MRP Systems (SAP, COUPA, ORACLE, ZYCUS, TUNGSTEN, etc)
- MS OFFICE (Advanced Level)
- VISA (Plus)

**Travel requirements**:
Between 15% (Sporadic Only when it would be needed, to make Team Visits)

**Work schedule**:
Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 6:00 pm)
