(Cen) Urbanization Solutions Analyst

Contribute to the scale-up acceleration of Urbanization Solutions businesses from an emerging practice towards established regional franchises, with analyses and studies of strategic nature (e.g., industry, competitors) and evaluation of projects, investment opportunities, and M&A transactions on a global level. Main focus on key verticals: Performance Materials (e.g., Concrete Admixtures, Mortars), Industrialized Construction (e.g., Urban Landscaping, 2D and 3D modular) and Circularity (e.g., CDE recycling, waste revalorization)
**Main Responsibilities**
- BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & MARKET INSIGHTS: analyze new trends and technologies, markets conditions, competitors’ strategies and performance; help consolidate knowledge and lessons learnt; generate business acumen across the organization
- ROADMAPS & BUSINESS PLANS: contribute to market deep dive analyses; participate in work streams of internal Urbanization Solution consulting projects; support PMO of Business Plans and other initiatives
- PIPELINE & GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES: assess business development opportunities in CEMEX’s markets and geographies within the whole Construction Value Chain; assist analysis review (Private-Equity alike), identify opportunities to grow CEMEX’s Urbanization Solutions business unit
- M&A: Participate in M&A processes, contribute to the development of revenue models (supporting valuation) and evaluate transaction rationale
- MANAGEMENT PRESENTATION: Develop materials for top management, ExCo, Board meetings and Urbanization Solutions events
- INTERNAL COORDINATION: be an ambassador when coordinating with other areas of CEMEX (e.g., innovation, sustainability)

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering
- Proficient in Spanish and English
- 2-4 years of experience in big four accounting firms, consultancy, planning areas
- Computer skills: Advanced user of Microsoft Office - incl. Power Point, Excel and Power BI
- Problem solving skills: outstanding analytical skills applied and ability to deal with complexity
- Interpersonal skills: Team player with strong communication skills
- Personal characteristics: Intellectually curious, resourceful, and mature individual with strong sense of responsibility and commitment to excellence. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
