This role supports CEMEX’s Global R&D mandate of managing the technological agenda of products, processes, and digital and construction solutions through intelligence activity that identifies and analyzes opportunities, threats, and emerging technologies that will support business strategic decisions.**Main Responsibilities**:- Execute detailed techno/economic analysis and proposals of novel technologies and solutions to support the decision-making process (Go/NoGo) of research projects, collaborations and/or investment opportunities.- Perform building technologies and materials’ maps, comparisons and investigations and contribute to the development of positioning reports and technical publications.- Stay up to date of trends & ideas in the urban environment, providing input, guidance and design solutions for the research and development of new innovative technologies that will enrich CEMEX Global R&D portfolio.- Support the coordination and dissemination of technology alerts, news and evaluations through reports, presentations, newsletters, social media posts and other channels.- Work cross-functionally in the organization to integrate the expertise and opinion of relevant internal experts from both global areas and business units to have a comprehensive picture and unified position on current and future building technologies and materials.**Position Challenges**:- ._**Qualifications**:- English & Spanish fluent- Civil Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering,- Ideally, 1-2 years of professional experience in research activities including development, investigation, analysis of technologies, patents & trends- Skills/experience in managing digital data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus- Ability to extract, process & analyze complex data from multiple scientific and non-scientific sources and to summarize and present data visually.**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL: Global R&D Group, CEMEX Ventures, CEMEX Urbanization Solutions, CEMEX Corporate Sustainability, CEMEX Business Units.EXTERNAL: Start-Ups, Universities, Research Institutes, Experts from related industries**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
