Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Troubleshooting systems and hardware. Responsible for analyzing and maintaining a call log of IT support issues/tickets networking related to discover trends to proactively reduce ongoing issues. Continually assesses needs and requirements - Ensuring systems and hardware security. Monitors online security for users and networks and takes appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary. - Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detections systems, and access controls. - Upgrading systems and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software configurations. - Collaborating with other IT professionals, vendors, and service providers to ensure network efficiency and security. - Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Leads the IT Support staff to execute training and orientation for new technology users of the organization and helps them become familiar with equipment and networks

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field (preferred).
- English proficiency at the B1 level, with the expectation of reaching C1 within the next six months.
- At least two years of proven professional experience in an IT Network Engineering role, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in the following competencies: Networking:
- Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN. - Security Tools: Firewalls (SonicWall desirable), IDS/IPS, SIEM.
- Virtualization/Cloud: Hyper-V, AWS, Azure networking, MS tenant. - Monitoring Tools: Azure Security platform, Service Desk Plus session management.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+ are desirable. Cybersecurity - Perform vulnerability scans and patch management.
- Implement zero-trust architecture and MFA.
- Maintain compliance with standards like ISO 27001. Soft Skills
- Great communicator to understand the problem and translate it to customer.
- Strong problem-solving under pressure.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues regarding IT in a manner that is timely.
- Ability to create clear documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
