**Job Description**:
Responsible to build and execute plans for assigned projects and vehicle subsystems. Participate in the creation of structural analysis models to lead the design of a diversity of components. Empower CAE suppliers and internal resources to meet program landmarks and goals. Perform and lead all aspects of resources for virtual assessment of designs and compare results to performance requirements. Initiate design solutions to resolve any performance issues with mass & cost efficiency. Support the Design using basic analytical solutions and numerical simulations using finite element analysis software.

**Additional Job Description**

Work in coordination with other areas of Product Engineering such as: design engineering, development, validation, and manufacturing to build integral solutions using virtual simulation. Produce and evaluate solutions to improve the quality and cost of the designs, based on specialized engineering knowledge. Generate reports about virtual assessments.

Participate in global forums and meetings to share technical information about new procedures and new ways of simulation

**Technical knowledge**

Understanding of engineering theory, principles of design as well as solid knowledge in theory of finite element analysis. Desirable to have fundamentals on manufacturing and automotive engineering. Understanding on the basics of structural analysis theory.

**Skills**
- Analytical capability to define and tackle performance challenges through innovation.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work with others.
- Excellent oral and written communication (Spanish and English)
- Knowledge on CAE tools (desirable)
- Understanding of multi physics phenomena
- Knowledge of finite element analysis software
**Education**

College degree on Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar.
