As a Controllership Senior Associate supporting the Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) team in our AGS Mexico Shared Services Center, you will be trusted to manage statutory accounting and reporting processes across Latin America.

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Managing statutory accounting activities and ensuring compliance with both local GAAP and IFRS.
- Leading balance sheet reviews and reconciling IFRS vs. local standards differences.
- Acting as the primary liaison with external auditors for the timely issuance of statutory financial statements.
- Supporting transfer pricing reviews and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance internal controls, support SOX requirements, and standardize reporting processes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in statutory accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP; audit experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).
- Intermediate English proficiency (written, spoken, reading).
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
