ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Manages and process state sales tax returns.
2. Review sales tax accounts for accuracy in the general ledger.
3. Ensure that proper documentation exists for non-taxable customers.
4. Assist in closing financial records.
5. Assist in special financial analysis projects.
6. Manages daily cash process.
7. Write accounting policies and procedures.
8. Performs a variety of other accounting tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of four years of responsible accounting experience.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
