Essential responsibilities and duties_**
- The Tooling & Equipment buyer is responsible for deploying the commodity strategy for its assigned commodities. The role is to manage relationship / negotiation with suppliers, pilot the utilization of supplier panel in programs and series production during sourcing, and ensure supplier performance._
- The main missions of the role are:_- _
Structure the panel_
- _ Participate in the definition and the implementation of purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities_
- _ Manage supplier selection of his/her segment/s of the commodity and deploys it within the region_
- _ Manage relationship / negotiation with his/her suppliers supported by the Division / Region Commodity Manager_
- _ Ensure that the strategic panel is implemented in the Development phase (Supplier Nomination Committees)_
- _ Ensure the overall supplier performance_
- _ Manage and drive productivity action plans_
- _ Fix the rules of Productivity sharing between the suppliers and Faurecia_
- _ Manage and drive supplier quality and delivery performance_
- _ Manage insolvencies of suppliers and steer corrective action plan_

Qualifications_**- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business._
- Nice to have: Professional Purchasing Qualification_

**_
Experience :_**- _ Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing in an industrial environment (serial life or program)_
- _ Experience of successfully managing and negotiating contracts_
- Nice to have: Automotive experience would be an advantage_

**_
Skills and competencies :_**- _ Knowledge of supply portfolio and market research and analysis_
- _ Good understanding of business practices, market dynamics and trends._
- _ Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects_
- _ English fluent_
- _ International minded_
- _ Results oriented_
- _ Negotiation and interpersonal skills_
