We are looking for an enthusiastic, data-driven Business Controller to join our Finance team. You act as a business partner of one or more of our branches. As a Business Controller you have an integral view and attention for both the operational and financial performance of a branch. You are open to new developments and make an impact by actively contributing to achieving the company's results with clear analyses. Furthermore, you support management by continuously looking for improvements in operational performance and by challenging to do a little better every day. In short, likes to alternate between the main lines and the details.

You will work within the business control team and report to the Finance Director Benelux.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- You are the finance business partner for the management team(s) of your branch(s). You provide management with insights that support decision-making at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
- You make an important contribution in the various business performance processes, such as discussing the results of periodic financial analyses and advising on actions and follow-up;
- Active role in the planning & control cycle of your branch(s), including the budget and forecast process, the monthly financial close and the periodic management reports with explanations of the results achieved;
- Role in various business cases regarding expansion or renewal;
- You will formulate and maintain KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and improve performance in the organization;
- Identify savings initiatives and then drive and continue to track them

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level;
- You are analytically strong and have an inquisitive attitude
- You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- You feel and work well in a dynamic and growing environment
- Knowledge of and experience in the logistics sector is an advantage;
- Mastery of the English language is a must
- You are a real team player and able to manage different stakeholders
- An independent and enterprising attitude, in which you are both strongly people
- and result-oriented;
- Willing to travel between different locations in the Benelux
