**Our client is a medical devices industry leader and has requested us to search for a Production manager for their currently**
**expanding Manufacturing facility in Tijuana, B.C.**
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Fully responsible for the safety of the human resources working inside the manufacturing areas
- Attain the health, safety and environmental (EHS) metrics pertaining to his/her area and participate on the proper forums
- Responsible for the adequate execution of the weekly production plan
- Determine, control and change as needed the sequence of the production schedule in combination with the planning and engineering teams to maximize efficiency
- Communication of any change or threat to the production plan
- Ownership, attainment and continuous improvement of the productivity and material utilization indicators
- Understanding of backorder, customer service level, OEE, equipment capacity and availability, uptime and downtime, materials and labor constraints
- Conduct meetings to review safety, service and/or quality performance issues
- Ensures that proper maintenance routines are followed to guarantee reliable equipment and tooling performance
- Responsible for the cleanliness and order of the shop floor areas and personnel inside
- Select, train, and review the performance of all the delegated employees
- Assists in the development and improvement of our quality system procedures and responsible for procedure compliance
***EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:
- Professional Industrial Production Engineering title.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- 5 years of management experience inside medical devices companies under controlled room environment conditions
- Seasoned in ISO-13485, FDA standards and regulations
- Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) systems and normativity (OSHA, NOM) experience
- Lean, 6S or L6S certification achieved or in process
- Process, manufacturing engineering experience, NPI, V&V exposure desirable
- Financial acumen, estimation and control of P&L, budgets, variances
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- ERP experience (QAD)
