**Job Title: Production Manager**
**Job Summary**:
The Operations Business Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic planning, and performance of a specific business unit within an organization. This role ensures that the unit meets its financial, operational, and customer service goals while aligning with the broader objectives of the company.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the business unit.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, HR, sales, and supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing unit.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the business unit and senior leadership.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in operations or business unit management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement training.
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or service-based environment.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution.
