Descripción y detalle de las actividadesReporting to the Operations Manager within the Cable Backplanes Operation, the Production Manager Primary focus is to achieve production and customer commit plans, while maintaining manufacturing world class practices related to safety standards, process and product quality controls, customer requirements and on time delivery. The production manager is responsible for talent development, continuous improvement, and positive work environment of the production department.- Ensure that health and safety regulations are always met. Drive safety culture.- Determining and implementing world class quality control mindset and ensure adherence to standards.- Accountable for daily operation and meeting production goals in a timely and accurate manner.- Ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently (drive continuous improvement along with functional teams).- Execute and meet Planning and managing production schedules.- Collaborates around product introduction to meet given objectives.- Drives continuous improvement on productivity (labor, cycle times) and eliminating waste (improving cycle times, reducing scrap, eliminating process waiting times)- Provides leadership to Supervisors team including establishing objectives, setting goals, and managing accountability for attaining deliverables.- Drive and enable visual factory controls in production shop floor.- Lead tier and Gemba activities with his/her team.- Partner with human resources area to manage employee services, recruiting, training, and development.- Drive initiatives to improve employee work environment.Experiência y requisitosEngineering bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, electronic, mechanical or related is required+5 years of prior demonstrated experience in Production Manager roleEnglish level - 90%.Relevant experience leading a Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing processAbility to work across the organization and various disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development Conflict resolution and negotiating skills.Self-directed, result and goal oriented.Strategic thinking.Effective communication skillsLeaderships sand development skills (developing Supervisors and team leaders)Leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentUS VISA requiredBeneficios- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT- Fondo de ahorro- Seguro de gastos médicos- Servicios medicos en planta- Bono de Puntualidad y Asistencia- Caja de ahorro**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Producción/Manufactura**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
