- Evaluates, conceptualizes, justifies, documents, and implements projects funded by plant expenses or capital investment for continuous improvement, industrial safety, energy savings, waste reduction, and equipment rebuilding or replacement. - Provides and maintains effectiveness in problem solving, to maintain manufacturing continuity safely, on time and on budget. - Responsible for developing performance and operation indicators of production equipment to optimize maintenance strategies - Check the database related with updated KPIs, including historical ones. - Responsible for keeping updated equipment, machinery and building plans in digital or printed media. - Provides technical support to efficiently use the variable and fixed maintenance budget through cost-benefit analysis and standardization of equipment and components. - Participates in the selection of technical and administrative personnel of the department. - Responsible for evaluating the technical capabilities and quality standards of the contracting companies and negotiating the costs of manufacturing and / or corresponding services to projects of the area and maintenance of equipment designated to him/her. - Right the first time, minimum 80% of his/hers interventions - Responsible for fully managing assigned projects to meet budget and time. - Participate in the initiatives of the plant with the maintenance team. - Participate in the reinforcement of safety within the plant in its dealings with suppliers, contractors, and technicians - Responsible for making capital projects to improve equipment. - Responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating the predictive maintenance programs of the plant - Contribute on spreading Rheem's culture (Mission, Vision, Values, 7 Habits, IE) - Participate in the Department's Skills Inventory (matrix, training, etc.)
Experiência y requisitos
- Professional career of mechanical, mechatronic, industrial or related engineering. - Conversational English - General Knowledge: computer equipment, Microsoft OFFICE (Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and MS Project - Mechanical Design software knowledge (AUTOCAD, Solid Works, Pro-Engineer) - Proficient in Reading Engineering Drawings and Diagrams (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical) - Communication Skills: Verbal, written and presentations with clients, suppliers and team members - Personal Availability: With the availability to work in different shifts according to the requirements and needs of the company, as well as work or leave the company when and where it is required. - Safety: With knowledge of accident prevention, personal protective equipment, handling of liquids and flammable products, ergonomics, hygiene, restricted areas (load centers, fire extinguishers...)
