The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as an HSE Manager at Reynosa, MX. The HSE Manager will be part of our mission to create a safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplace. How You'll Make an Impact
- Act as a coach and advisor to the supervision team on HSE management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
- Maintain and execute HSE management systems, conduct inspections and audits, and manage corrective actions.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and analysis programs.
- Analyze and monitor trends in incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective measures.
- Develop and implement HSSE programs and procedures.
- Promote employee awareness and participation in safe behaviors.
- Manage the ergonomics program and prioritize corrective actions.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, or Occupational Health Sciences.
- 5 plus years of HSE management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and plant-specific software systems.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
- Experience with behavior-based safety programs and ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
