**Regional Purchasing Head North LATAM**
Location: Toluca

**Role/ Mision**:Define the sub-regional/BU purchasing strategies and ensure their effective implementation in the Sub-Region/BU within the Group’s purchasing goals and KPI’s according to purchasing objectives and business plans**_Main Accountabilities:_**
- Definition and implementation of sub-regional/BU purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials within delegated authority, approved budget guidelines and Group standards
- Development and establishment of regional purchasing budgets and objectives for direct and indirect materials and monitor their proper execution, within approved guidelines, and initiate and implement corrective actions in case of deviations
- Negotiation of purchasing agreements with suppliers for direct and indirect materials to ensure their reliable and safe supply at the most competitive prices according to Group materials specifications and standards
- Management of the sourcing process for regional direct and indirect materials to ensure their availability (quantity and quality) for the Siegwerk Group at all times in all required locations within the Region
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers as well as ensuring close cooperation with Technology, internal counterparts and SCM management team
- Assessment, auditing and monitoring of supplier performance in the sub-region/BU according to agreements and defined standards to initiate and implement corrective actions in case of deviations
- Adequate support and development of sub-region/BU to carry out their activities
- Plan, define and monitor proper execution of regional direct and indirect materials purchasing strategies within budgets and objectives and define and implement corrective actions in case of deviations
- Analyze and evaluate market information on domestic and global suppliers to develop regional purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials
- Research and report on market trends, price changes and price forecasting to adapt regional purchasing strategies and sourcing activities to latest market developments
- Create, develop and implement total regional cost reduction programs in close cooperation with Tech., SCM and BU’s
- Manage integrity and accuracy of purchasing database on a regional basis
- In some cases, the position is also responsible for local (site) purchasing activities (order processing; interfaces with production planning and local suppliers)
- Liaising effectively with Technology, SPI and BU’s in the search of innovative, new and alternative indirect materials
- Liaising effectively with Lead Buyers in the Region and local buyers at site level
- Development and implementation of regional / global purchasing strategies and objectives
- Development of strategic sourcing opportunities and establishment of an integrated supply chain in the Region
Qualifications:

- University degree in business administration/ science/ engineering
- Min 5-10 years experience in Purchasing
- Strong people management competencies
- Mature understanding of key product technology
- International purchasing experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Excel and ERP
