Company:SCTEK ManufacturingLocation:Rosarito, Baja California, MexicoAbout the Role:We are seeking aSenior Accountant (Contador Senior)to support our growingmanufacturing / maquiladoraoperations in Rosarito.This role will manage accounting and tax operations underIMMEX Program, and work closely with ourinternational finance teamin Taiwan.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Financial OperationsManage full-cycle accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closing.Ensure accuracy of financial transactions underMexican GAAPand internal company policies.2. Tax & IMMEX CompliancePrepare and submit tax declarations in line with SAT requirements.ManageIMMEX documentation, audits, and compliancefor import/export operations.Liaise with customs and external consultants to ensure compliance with maquiladora regulations.3. Financial ReportingPrepare periodic financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.Consolidate and report results to the Taiwan headquarters in English.4. Audit & External CoordinationWork with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies during reviews and annual audits.Support both internal and external audit requests.5. Regulatory & Policy AlignmentMonitor new accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and ensure company compliance.Support finance policy implementation and process improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.3+ yearsof experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing industry preferred).Familiarity or experience withIMMEX / Maquiladoraoperations is astrong plus.Experience with SAT filings, CONTPAQi, or SAP is desirable.Proficient inExceland comfortable communicating inEnglish and Spanish.
