About the Role:

We are seeking a
Senior Accountant (Contador Senior)
to support our growing
manufacturing / maquiladora
operations in Rosarito.

This role will manage accounting and tax operations under
IMMEX Program
, and work closely with our
international finance team
in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions under
    Mexican GAAP
    and internal company policies.

2.Tax & IMMEX Compliance

  • Prepare and submit tax declarations in line with SAT requirements.
  • Manage
    IMMEX documentation, audits, and compliance
    for import/export operations.
  • Liaise with customs and external consultants to ensure compliance with maquiladora regulations.

3.Financial Reporting

  • Prepare periodic financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
  • Consolidate and report results to the Taiwan headquarters in English.

4.Audit & External Coordination

  • Work with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies during reviews and annual audits.
  • Support both internal and external audit requests.

5.Regulatory & Policy Alignment

  • Monitor new accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and ensure company compliance.
  • Support finance policy implementation and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years
    of experience in accounting or finance (manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Familiarity or experience with
    IMMEX / Maquiladora
    operations is a
    strong plus
    .
  • Experience with SAT filings, CONTPAQi, or SAP is desirable.
  • Proficient in
    Excel
    and comfortable communicating in
    English and Spanish
    .
