As a founding member of the Ag Tech Advisory Collective, we extend our capabilities through a global network of experts, enabling us to support clients across the entire agricultural technology ecosystem.We work with Ag Tech startups, OEMs, agribusinesses, associations, and investors across sectors, including machinery, precision agriculture, robotics, sensors, smart implements, and digital farming tools.Role Overview (Independent Contractor)Ag Tech-Pro is seeking an independent contractor to support project-based research, analysis, and deliverable development across Ag Tech consulting engagements.The contractor will provide services including structured research, insights synthesis, slide development, and coordination support for specific assigned projects.Scope of Work (Project-Based Deliverables)The contractor may be engaged to perform services such as:Conduct structured market, technology, and competitive research across crops, regions, and Ag Tech categories.Deliver written summaries, structured insights, and research-based recommendations as defined per project.Prepare professional slide decks, analyses, frameworks, and visual materials for internal or client use.Assist in preparing materials for client presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions.Support coordination activities related to specific projects (e.g., preparing agendas, documenting discussions, tracking progress).Collect, organize, and interpret data from various public and proprietary sources such as USDA, FAO, government databases, and industry reports.Provide light administrative or support services directly related to project deliverables.Note:Responsibilities are connected todefined project scopes, not ongoing internal operational duties.Required Experience & SkillsExperience2–6 years of professional experience in agriculture or Ag Tech, such as agronomy, precision agriculture, farm operations, or agricultural market research.Experience working in an international environment, ideally with organizations or teams based in North America or Europe.EducationBachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (agronomy, ag engineering, ag economics, crop science, biology, or similar)SkillsStrong English communication skillsExcellent slide-building ability (Power Point, Google Slides)Solid analytical skills (Excel/Sheets, structuring and interpreting data)Strong proficiency with AI tools to support research and deliverable developmentAbility to synthesize complex information clearlyHigh reliability and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage own workflowComfortable collaborating remotely across time zonesLocation RequirementThis contractor role is open exclusively to candidates based in Latin America, with strong preference for Colombia or Mexico.Contractor ClassificationThis is anindependent contractor engagement, not an employment relationship.The contractor:Sets their own working hoursWorks remotely using their own equipmentMay perform services for other clientsIs responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and legal compliance in their countryWill be paid a contractor fee based on agreed-upon scope and deliverables
