Interns will learn from the best in the industry and work on substantial projects with real world implications, getting hands-on aerospace components, working side by side with experts in the field of Fluids systems completing challenging technical projects, applying theoretical knowledge to real-life technical problems, and developing skills in a cutting edge global industrial environment.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob ResponsibilitiesDuring the program GE will provide assignments, projects & tasks that is related to his/her major where the intern can develop leadership capabilities, communication skills and introduce him/her to the work environmentWork with industry leading experts to design, select, and implement fuel system components (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, actuators, etc.) for a components lab that is being developed as part of the GE strategy for the future of Aviation.Collaborate with Engineers from across GE Aerospace to solve design challenges, field support investigations, product improvements, etc.Required Qualifications: Must be actively enrolled in a university within a minimum period of 1 year of remaining classes before graduating. Engineering degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline in an accredited universityActive listener with good communication skills in English, capable of holding a conversation and communicating technical proposals in front of expert forumsStrong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsProactive and accountable with due-dates and commitments, with high level of integrityDesired Qualifications:Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfactionExcitement and enthusiasm for growing technical skills in mentioned technical areas listed aboveA team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teamsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
