• Comply with the company's Quality and Safety policies and objectives.
• Support the Quality Engineer and/or Quality Manager as required.
• Supervise the activities of In-Line and Final Process Quality Auditors.
• Ensure production is carried out in accordance with the plant Quality Management System and report non-conformances.
• Verify compliance with testing requirements, measurements, and proper completion of control charts.
• Monitor area performance and effectiveness through timely communication of quality metrics.
• Provide monthly quality metric updates to the Quality Engineer and the broader quality team.
• Monitor and maintain First Pass Yield (FPY) and Process PPMs in accordance with established targets.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and work instructions within the assigned area.
• Support the reduction of defects, scrap, and rework in production.
• Participate in quality improvement and cost reduction projects within the business unit.
• Assist with document control, updates to plant documentation, and employee training activities.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Environment role. Technical Knowledge
• Minitab.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• X̄-R Charts.
• Process Capability Analysis (Cp/Cpk).
• Control Limits.
• PFMEA.
• Control Plans.
• Process Flow Diagrams. Language
