Chief Accountant: FINTECH
Join our client, a rapidly growing FinTech company dedicated to revolutionizing financial services in Mexico. With a strong commitment to innovation, we are looking for a highly qualified Chief Accountant based in Mexico City (Central Business Districts).
The Role:Your role will be both strategic and operational, ensuring the company maintains strong financial compliance and efficiently executes its microloan operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:- You have at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Accountant, preferably in financial institutions or companies specializing in credit, where youve demonstrated your ability to thrive in dynamic and regulated environments.
- You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline that has equipped you to navigate the financial world with precision.
- Your knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) is impeccable, and you have experience working with international standards like IFRS/NIIF, allowing you to confidently operate in a global context.
- You are well-versed in internal and external audits, as well as local regulations applicable to the financial sector, ensuring flawless compliance and bolstering trust in the companys processes.
- You have a proven track record of preparing and presenting regulatory reports for entities such as the CNBV, SAT, and other key agencies, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.
- You excel in credit operation accounting, including calculations for reserves, interest, and portfolio recovery, understanding the nuances of this critical area for financial sustainability.
- Your advanced English proficiency is essential for this role. You must communicate fluently and precisely, both orally and in writing, to interact with international teams and stakeholders.

- Supervising and managing all accounting processes, including credit operation records.
- Preparing and timely presenting financial, tax, and administrative reports.
- Monitoring the accurate accounting of interest, reserves, and other operations in compliance with local and international standards.
- Coordinating internal and external audits, as well as managing interactions with regulatory bodies (CNBV, SAT, IMSS, among others).
- Ensuring the company meets all tax and legal obligations.
- Designing and overseeing strategies for financial and fiscal optimization.
