In this capacity, you'll sharpen your communication and lead-generation abilities while mastering top-tier sales technologies to establish connections with new clients. Your objective centers on securing valuable meetings with specific target organizations and giving prospects strong incentives to engage with our company.
You'll work hand-in-hand with fellow SDRs/Team Leads, Sales/Account Managers/Directors, and Marketing colleagues, picking up practical knowledge about prospecting techniques, sales workflows, our service portfolio, and success stories. Should you want to expand past your core duties, you'll also gain access to EPAM's worldwide community of skilled technologists, architects, strategists, consultants, and analysts. We view this position as a launching pad for Business Development careers at EPAM, offering a defined trajectory toward direct/field sales, partner sales, or leadership positions within our international SDR division.
ResponsibilitiesServe as a vital component of EPAM's sales machinery by locating and engaging ideal buyer profiles across designated accounts, generating new pipeline opportunities for sales and account management colleaguesEstablish genuine contact with potential clients across various channels including LinkedIn, email, outbound cold and warm calling, video conferencing, and social platforms to spark authentic dialogue and nurture ongoing relationshipsAdhere to EPAM's defined sales rhythm and established best practices to sustain an organized, strategic method for prospecting and outreach activitiesPerform thorough research into target companies and individual prospects, collecting meaningful data points and screening leads using standards like budget, decision-making authority, need, and timing (BANT)Coordinate discovery sessions and business meetings on behalf of sales and account management teams, laying the groundwork for presenting customized solutions to prospective clientsUtilize EPAM's sophisticated toolset, including CRM platforms, to log outreach efforts, oversee client relationship data, and ensure information security aligns with standards such as GDPRReliably hit or exceed assigned activity quotas on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis across calling, emailing, social engagement, and video outreachWork in close coordination with sales leaders and teammates while steadily building deeper knowledge of EPAM's solutions, technologies, and target industries through continued training and guidance from mentorsCompile and continuously improve lists of target accounts by digging into company backgrounds, organizational hierarchies, and key decision-makersMonitor the outcomes of outreach campaigns and fine-tune messaging tactics according to observed response trends and engagement levelsDraft brief overview notes and transition materials for sales team members prior to scheduled meetings to facilitate seamless handoffsKeep up to date with organizational developments, market trends, and competitive activity tied to assigned target accountsOffer input and suggestions during team discussions to help sharpen outreach scripts, communication style, and overall prospecting tacticsRequirementsBachelor's and Master's-level education in IT, Software, Sales/Marketing, or a similarly aligned fieldTwo years of hands-on professional background in sales, business development, marketing, customer service, or demand/lead generation positions such as SDR, BDR, LDR, ADR, or comparable rolesWell-developed communication and organizational capabilities alongside a versatile, adaptable approach to workSuperior command of written and spoken English at a C1 proficiency level or aboveNice to haveAuthentic interest in technology and the IT sector, combined with motivation to deepen your understanding of EPAM's solutions and market-leading offeringsEvident enthusiasm for establishing a lasting career path in Enterprise IT sales, along with readiness to continuously learn and progress within this fast-paced domainPrevious experience or familiarity with sectors such as Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, CPG, Telecommunications, Media, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Travel & HospitalityWorking knowledge of sales technology platforms like Salesforce, Dynamics, Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, or LushaUnderstanding of or hands-on exposure to sales frameworks such as Challenger Sales, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, BANT, Social Selling, Cold Calling, and outbound/inbound prospecting techniques
