As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for provide support to the production and quality area to achieve established business objectives, achieve a process of continuous improvement in production lines through FES (Faurecia Excellence System, tools, search for productivity ideas that allow operation to be improved.

Your responsibilities will include:

Daily:

Update of FMEA process documents / Control Plan / Flow Diag / HIT's

Search for productivity ideas

Continuous improvement and process optimization

Apply continuous improvement tools to lines and processes

Queries in SAP for inventory levels

Monitoring of actions that allow reducing the SCRAP and improving the efficiency of the line

Analysis and troubleshooting

Constant layout update

Frequent:

Participate in QRCI meetings

Process and product audit

Participate in FMEA audit activities and control plan

Purchase of equipment and tools to facilitate the manufacturing of products

Proposal to balance lines and improve in HC

Improvements in process flow and Lay out

Improvements in TRS and quality indicators

Participation in VAVE's Workshops and generation of savings

Track engineering changes

Eventual:

Supplier Selection Process

Audit Preparation

Development of KAIZEN workshops to improve productivity

Process ability studies, and TRS monitoring

Key requirements:

Degree in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or similar.

Advanced English

3- 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the automotive industry

Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and instrumentation tools Knowledge

Plant Distribution (Layout) times and movements Knowledge

Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

Technical Skills:

Analysis and management of different types of adhesives

Balancing production lines

Core Tools

Safety and regulatory processes

Adjustment of compression molds for presses

Calculation of personnel and machine efficiency

Analysis of temperature behavior for ovens and molds.

IATF and ISO knowledge

KANBAN

Supply chain acumen

Poka Yokes Vision System

Problem Solving Methodology knowledge
