Job Summary:
The HR & Administration Manager is able to effectively manage complex ethics, compensation and employee relations issues, and is willing to escalate any non-compliant, or ethically questionable activities beyond local management. Is responsible for all HR & administration functions and partners with the HRBP and local Controller to ensure that HR and administration policies and practices are simultaneously in line with local labor laws as well as TechnoServe policies and philosophies.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
Manage other HR / admin staff, as applicable. With the guidance of the HRBP serve as a trusted confidant to the CD and other local senior managers, helping them to proactively solve local HR matters. Responsible for all the local recruitment processes in Mexico, including the onboarding of new staff. Help CD with staffing, plans aligned to key projects and deliverables. Responsible of the safety and security procedures for TNS Mexico; managing security procedures and implementing protocols in compliance with TNS policies and procedures and local labor law. Act as the focal Security Point. Ensure that all employment contracts are compliant with local laws, with special attention to differentiation between definite and indefinite contracts. Identifying and developing a working relationship with local legal counsel. Lead local ethics and conflict-of-interest investigations, under the guidance of the HRBP. Responsible for managing the entire performance evaluation process for the TNS/Mexico office, from goal planning to implementation of salary increases for staff. Help interpret HR policies to fit local context. Fully participates in TechnoServe’s HR Community of Practice, providing solutions and lessons learned throughout the organization. Partner with HQ-HR professional development initiatives and programs. Help HRBP evaluate salary data and salary scales and adhere to TechnoServe compensation guidelines. Network with HR Managers in other similar organizations to keep on top of country-specific trends. Responsible of the procurement processes including managing the acquisition process and following up on the procedures ensuring we comply with TNS policies and practices. Manage TNS Mexico assets and associated processes.Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources area or equivalent 7 years’ experience in a relevant field related to Human resources.Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA in HRM preferred.Required Languages : Spanish / English
