R&D E-mobility - E-axle Design Engineer

Design of e-axle by integrating the electromechanical processes that compose it.

Educational Prerequisites

Bachelor of Science degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent). Advanced English - TOEFL min. Score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent).

Technical Prerequisites

Automotive knowledge background. Applicable engineering & physics knowledge. Knowledge of mechanical design and interface with electrical components. Background in FMEA and risk analysis. Understanding of electric drive architecture concepts. Knowledge of the Product Development Process. 3D CAD software knowledge (CREO Parametric preferred). Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

​​​​​​Conducts mechanical design activities to develop e-axle systems, as well as activities around their costing. Manages product data and engineering changes through PDM software (Windchill and RV&S). Performs engineering calculations to ensure or improve product function. Performs tolerance and interfaces analysis over assemblies and subassemblies. Interact with cross functional teams in the organization to ensure product performance. Administration of DFMEA & ADVP.
