Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Managers provide leadership for cross functional engineering teams. They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.

Responsabilidades: 
▪ Responsable de coordinar el departamento de ingeniería industrial, ingeniería de manufactura e ingeniería de proceso respectivamente. 
▪ Responsable de la planeación de los tiempos de integración de los recursos para la introducción efectiva de cambios de ingeniería o lanzamientos de nuevos productos y la implementación efectiva de proyectos de mejoras como coordinador líder de las implementaciones. 
▪ Responsable de buscar mejoras en los procesos productivos actuales. 
▪ Responsable de planear la distribución de las actividades de los integrantes del departamento. 
▪ Responsable de dar soporte a los miembros del departamento cuando tengan alguna duda o necesiten orientación con respecto a las actividades propias del departamento. 
▪ Responsable de trabajar en equipo con todos los integrantes de los demás departamentos de la empresa, para lograr los objetivos. 
▪ Responsable de dar soporte y proporcionar ayuda técnica-profesional a los departamentos que lo requieran dentro de las posibilidades de cooperación en trabajo de equipo. 
▪ Responsable de asignar proyectos específicos encaminados a la mejora continua y seguimiento. 
▪ Responsable de coordinar el lanzamiento de los productos involucrados en cambios por año modelo. 
▪ Responsable de coordinar el lanzamiento de nuevos productos y cambios de ingeniería. 
▪ Responsable de llevar a cabo y de manera confiable los registros de los objetivos medibles correspondientes al departamento (productividad, eficiencia, entre otros). 
▪ Responsable de investigar, desarrollar, implementar y dar seguimiento a métodos modernos de manufactura y /o sistemas efectivos que nos lleven a la mejora continua tanto de los procesos como de los procedimientos aplicados en la planta. 
▪ Responsable de coordinar el desarrollo de estudios ergonómicos 
▪ Responsable de la evaluación de nuevos proyectos y seguimiento en la implementación. 
▪ Responsable de organizar las actividades en base a: Administración (planeación, organización, ejecución y control) proyecciones, monitoreo de resultados, sistema de Calidad Industrial incluyendo cotización de mano de obra y equipo, Layout, Manufactura (capacidades, inventarios, etc.) 
▪ Responsable del análisis de tiempos caídos y desperdicios para desarrollar planes de acción encaminados a la mejora. 
▪ Responsable de dar soporte técnico al departamento de cotizaciones. 
▪ Responsable del soporte en órdenes de servicios y a corridas prototipo. 
▪ Responsable de la preparación y presentación de capacidades de manufactura a nuevos clientes. 

Requerimiento para la persona que ocupe el puesto (no la persona que ocupe el puesto actualmente) 

Nivel de Estudio Ing. Industrial/Manufactura con maestría de preferencia 
Experiencia Profesional 3 años en puesto gerencial Ramo Automotriz. 
Conocimientos Específicos y habilidades
▪ Interpretación de Planos de Arneses y Componentes Automotrices. 
▪ Manejo de Conflictos Laborales. 
▪ QS 9000 / ISO / TS 16949 / ISO 14000 
▪ Conocimiento en metodología de solución de problemas 
▪ Ejercer liderazgo efectivo. 
▪ Realización de proyectos. 
▪ Lectura de reportes especializados (financieros, jornadas científicas y técnicas, legales) 
▪ Inglés 100%
