UX Designer

We are looking for both Senior and Mid-Level UX Designers to join a dynamic team focused on modernizing and improving the messaging experience for job seekers and employers. This is a hands-on role that emphasizes execution and problem-solving, with opportunities to work closely with product teams, engineers, and researchers throughout the design process.
Team Context:
You will collaborate with a team of 5 designers, researchers, and a content designer, working on features such as enabling job seekers to send SMS to employers and enhancing the overall messaging experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to design solutions.
Engage in problem-solving, going beyond UI execution to address user challenges.
Execute end-to-end product design, from identifying problems to delivering effective solutions.
Participate in usability testing and collaborate with researchers to identify testing needs.
Ensure designs meet legal and accessibility requirements for messaging solutions.
Skills & Experience Required:
Qualifications
Core Skills:
Product Design Experience:
Hands-on experience working with product teams (not limited to agency or freelance work).
Ability to engage with engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise:
Proficient in Figma.
Comfortable using Google Suite for collaboration.
Usability Testing & Research:
Knowledge of usability testing, including test setup and result analysis.
Soft Skills:
Strong team player, adaptable, and collaborative.
Willingness to contribute to various areas as needed.
Bonus Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with legal requirements for messaging and accessibility.
Experience designing SMS interactions or similar messaging solutions.
Background in accessibility compliance.
Experience working closely with researchers and content designers.
Candidates will be considered for Senior or Mid-Level roles based on their experience and expertise.
