Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Acts as the primary liaison to and support for business teams for a wide range of vendor contracts, also coordinates with lawyers in Epson’s Legal Department and external vendors. Oversees the entire contracts lifecycle, helping with contract requests, submissions, preparing exhibits and documents, and electronic signatures. Supports various teams with contract preparation and approvals and engages with internal teams and attorneys to address contract details and questions. Manages, oversees, and administers all aspects of the Legal Department’s contract management system, including working with the Information Systems organization on system improvements and technical matters. Develops processes and procedures to ensure accurate contract tracking, approvals and record keeping. Develops and implements procedures and controls to monitor and measure the impact and efficacy of contract management processes and systems. Develops and manages key metrics, objectives and reporting procedures for continuous improvement of the contract management systems. Provides general Legal Department support and administration, including records management and managing legal files. Participates in department projects and contributes to process improvement initiatives. Works with attorneys to perform research and support on a variety of legal issues and other projects. Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives. Handles other job-related duties and special projects as assigned. 

Professional Skills Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Excellent English and Spanish communication (verbal and written). Highly motivated professional with the ability to think analytically, work collaboratively and independently. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, balance responsibilities, prioritize, and deliver assigned workloads to timely meet deadlines. Team-player, adaptative, and agile learner. Ability to create contracts tracking reports. Familiarity working with systems related to contracts lifecycle management such as: DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat. Precision and attention to detail in the end-to-end contracts administration. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 – specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with and willingness to learn Power BI. Previous experience working in a legal department of a multinational company or law firm is a plus.

Minimum Experience Requirements

A - Limited Experience entry level (less than 2 yrs. experience)

Education

D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
