In line with both the Chanel Marketing strategies and Chanel Learning priorities, the Fragance Trainer defines, implement, and analyzes learning journeys (online and offline) adapted to each audience under his/her responsibility. Identify learners’ needs, develop and implement online and offline training courses tailored to the different audiences (BC, BA, Ambassadors…Marketing & Comercial Teams). The Fragance Trainer delivers Education initiatives for developing client facing selling staff reinforcing the CHANEL Differences at the POS and driving results. By being connected to the field, the Trainer drives changes through inspiration, role modeling and training.
Key Responsibilities:
TRAINER
Adapt & execute trainings on:
Hard skills (strong knowledge and skills on Fragance)
Soft skills (empathy, art of emotional connection, art of questioning)
Brand Awareness (Brand Mission, Luxury Culture, Brand Culture, etc.)
Actively participate in preparing and coordinating the Convention, Learning Events and Chanel meetings
Support & Animate Trade activities & Kick-off meetings
Support Comercial Teams by assisting them with their training activities when needed
Assesses training efficiency and provides suggestions to improve the impact and quality of the BC's learning experience.
FIELD COACH / MENTOR
Create & propose POS visits calendar reflects business needs & training strategy
Set POS visit targets for individual & teams’ improvement on:
implementation with no compromise on quality
Art of selling: cross-; link-; up- sell; slow-movers, top-sellers
Art of relationship: story making, how to build the loyalty to our brand
Beauty Confidant Posture
Product Knowledge applied to the client profiles
Ability to build, communicate and pilot KPI’s
BUSINESS PARTNER
Promote and build a close relationship with Comercial and Marketing teams to become a key business partner and to ensure consistency throughout the 360º approach
Prioritizes training initiatives to ensure relevance of the Annual Training calendar
Reports to HR Director: learning & business training objectives before each training, training calendar, individual & teams feedback, coaching results after training & floor visits
Pilot, follow-up and control of Fragance Training budget
What are we looking for?
Training and group animation experience (5 years)
Fragance experience is crucial
Language skills: English & Spanish
Technology savvy and digital trend awareness
Retail experience
Interpersonal skills, empathy, and intercultural awareness
Public speaking skills, ability to engage and inspire
Curiosity, innovative mindset and adaptability to change, eagerness to learn
Business and Performance oriented
