The Team Lead will act as a liaison between the team and management, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. This position is crucial for maintaining the quality of service provided to clients and ensuring that cases are handled efficiently.
Compensation:$24,000
Responsibilities:Include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned department, ensuring high performance and team collaboration.
- Onboard and train new team members on case production, processes, and procedures relevant to the department.
- Develop and implement a timeline to achieve department targets and goals, while maintaining accountability across the team.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documentation and records for each case or project the team handles.
- Collaborate with other departments to successfully complete firm-wide and client-specific goals.
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Facilitate team meetings, set agendas, and distribute updates on team progress to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements that will enhance team productivity and service quality.
- Stay informed about legal requirements, procedures, and industry standards related to the department.
- Step in to assist the team with production tasks as needed.
The following includes the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements necessary to perform this position:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate.
- Proven experience or skills in leading a team in a legal or professional services setting.
- Familiarity with case management systems and departmental processes.
- Prior experience in immigration law or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and team activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and case management software.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes and support a culture of continuous learning.
