Opening Sentence:
Develops, establishes, tracks, and executes a Category strategy to ensure the best possible commercial conditions for the company for the assigned categories. This position also engages in the product/part development, supplier selection, part sourcing, Item setup (Oracle System), and part qualification processes.
Role Responsibilities:
Procurement strategy (support primary category leader Manages commodity pricing to align with current market conditions and in consideration of cost of commodity inputs. Identifies, on-boards, and develops suppliers appropriate to Donaldson strategic sourcing objectives. Provides support to Donaldson plant and distribution center teams to ensure strong alignment. Engages the Supplier Quality Management team in supplier development processes to ensure PPM quality levels are achieved.Travel: 5%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field Minimum 4 years professional level sourcing experience Market fluctuations, manufacturing process, supply chain Advanced EnglishPreferred Qualifications:
