Location/Division Specific Information

This role has global responsibility for cybersecurity integrations and automation within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team.

This position plays a key role in crafting and maintaining custom applications and systems to protect, detect and respond to security threats on-premise and in our multi-cloud environment.

A day in the Life:

Write, test, and deliver high quality software and documentation (primarily in Python) Work directly with cybersecurity teams to capture requirements and deliver innovative solutions Identify and prioritize technical risks, impediments and dependencies on the product backlog Integrate enterprise grade security products, services and data Define, design and document reference architectures Maintain and improve existing software solutions Share and align architectural vision Mentor junior engineers

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Experience

7+ years of software development using a modern programming language such as Python, Java or JavaScript in an Agile environment Hands on experience with microservices and event driven architecture Experience interacting with software endpoints using HTTP, REST, SOAP, or similar Cloud and container architecture and services Front-end and/or data visualization experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proven track record developing and debugging software Solid grasp of software version control and release management Demonstrated understanding of compute, network and storage infrastructure components Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) and SQL language Object Oriented design Leadership, decisiveness, and ability to influence your partners to build and deploy software changes Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
