WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Provide guidance and work supervision to team ensuring availability of resources to exceed key performance metrics.

  • Coordinate data driven improvements demonstrating the A3 & RCCM process.

  • Participate in and/or lead cross-functional, multi-level improve projects and kaizen events.

  • Support a continuous improvement culture by coaching and involving employees in Lean methodologies.

  • Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the operation using lean methodologies.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of current and future state value stream maps and continuous improvement plans.

  • Pursue the execution of the plant transformation plans and cost reduction funnel.

  • Educate improvement teams in lean transformation philosophy, approach, activity and appropriate tools.

  • Identify and share standard processes and external trends.

  • Coordinate lean transformation and standardize work across sites.

  • Participate in communities of standard methodology sharing within the site, segment and enterprise.

  • Generate interest for Lean application, methodologies and culture.

  • Provide leadership for House of Lean knowledge management and sharing.

  • Support annual Strategic Deployment process including enterprise value stream mapping & transformation planning.

  • Coordinate & maintain a Kaizen Calendar system to plan and execute events through closure.

  • Support a One nVent culture ensuring values are being deployed.

  • Be able to work directly on implementing key Lean methodologies to drive business results as well as be able to coach and instruct others to effectively learn and deploy Lean Methodologies.

  • Be highly approachable to associates and create an environment for participation.  Promote hands-on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor degree in Operations Management or related. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 4+YEO in supervision position on manufacturing, supply chain or related field, preferred.

  • 4+ YEO of manufacturing continuous improvement experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and culture.

  •  Strong project management and project leadership experience

  •  Knowledgeable, with demonstrated skills implementing, guiding and deploying Lean Methodologies in Manufacturing, Distribution and Transactional applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to use structured problem solving process to improve process and improve the customers’ experience.

  • Proficient in AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

  • Knowledge of business processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.

  • Educate and facilitate groups using data for decision making.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in the organization.

  • Analytical skills and business financial knowledge is a plus.

  • Skilled in full cycle process/project management, planning and change management.

  • Optimally plan and coordinate to changing demands and circumstances activities across multi-functional teams and departments.

  • Ability to establish relationships and influence others in the organization.

  • Able to pursue multiple priorities with minimal direction.

  • Effectively work in diverse teams, including working with people from multiple levels of the organization.
