Team Introduction
The Revenue BP and Credit Control team is responsible for the revenue contract review of the company's overall business lines. Position OverviewTikTok is seeking a stellar Collections Specialist to join our Mexico office. In this role, you will handle AR-related activities and improve debt collection processes in the LATAM region, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities- Review finance clauses in customer contracts, especially their financial terms. Process of refunds, top-ups, etc. to ensure financial compliance. - Support the monthly billing issues and ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers; Follow up with clients to ensure payment on the due date. Respond to clients’ disputes and requests for information.- Execute debt collection activities for an assigned portfolio of customers in a dedicated region. Enable agreement of customer re-payment plans. To monitor and track progress on action plans. To manage the process to suspend customer services in the event of continued non-payment, in line with TikTok’s agreed disconnection procedure. - Work collaboratively with other TikTok teams to resolve issues affecting cash collection or raise issues which may impact on customer satisfaction. - Maintain an effective liaison relationship with Sales, Operations, and Finance departments and make recommendations on process improvements to reduce credit risk and lower DSO. - Other collection-related tasks, such as internal team meetings, cross-functional collaboration, bad debt reporting, collection agency activities, and communicating internally to service clients and business needs.- Experience in AR-related activities and familiarity with the digital advertising industry is a plus.- Excellent communication skills.- Good analytical and interpersonal skills; Ability to cope under pressure.- High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
