Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior Client Engineer to join our WWE Champions team in a Mexico City on a hybrid basis. This candidate must be located in a timezone compatible with working in the United States of America (CST (GMT-6) +- 3 hours)

What You’ll Do
Design, architect and implement features in core game systems using Unity 2021. Build new UI and update existing UI for gameplay features. Build tools to help our other staff be more efficient and effective. (C#, Python, NodeJS, and React) Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail and system testing on a timely basis Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter Team up with skilled colleagues that are committed to delivering the best products possible Share knowledge and help colleagues both inside and outside of your teamWhat We’re Looking For
Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms) High-quality and maintainable code writing (Clean Code, SOLID, DRY, Design Patterns, OOP) Mastery of C#, including experience with asynchronous, multi-threaded, parallel programming paradigms. Socket programming, Game Development experience. At least 2 shipped titles in Unity, at least 5 years of experience on professional game development teams or equivalent personal experience. Must be proficient in building frontend ui as well as game systems - you are responsible for all things client side development. Experience fixing bugs and refactoring complex systems Heavy experience with source control (git) Product engineering mindset with a can-do attitude Fluency and professional command of the English languageBonus Points
Experience with AWS, Linux, SSH, deployment and Devops. Previous experience developing shared tools Experience with backend programming and development in Javascript (nodejs), Typescript, Python, and C# Experience developing your own games (bonus points for linking us to a title on the app or play store) Hands-on experience with mobile development (Android, iOS) You like to play games too-
