We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist or Data Analyst with a focus on Business Intelligence to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging data to drive business insights, inform strategic decisions, and improve operational efficiencies. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and a keen business acumen to translate data findings into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.

Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.

Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, and IT to understand data needs and deliver insights that drive business outcomes.

Strategic Planning: Provide data-driven recommendations and strategies to senior management to enhance business performance.

Tool Development: Develop and implement tools and frameworks to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

Training and Support: Train and support team members and stakeholders in using BI tools and interpreting data insights.

Predictive Analytics: Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast future trends and behaviors.

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (must).

A Master’s degree is preferred.

Certifications in relevant tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Google Data Studio, etc.). desirable

Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Certification in machine learning or data analysis (e.g., Coursera, edX, or equivalent) is a plus. desirable
