Essential functions
Manage client expectations from deliverables perspective. Establish and maintain relationships with all local client stakeholders, become primary go-to delivery person on all project matters. Expand the team by finding and attracting talent from the market and developing internal team members. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Proactively communicate project status and risks to stakeholders. Make project planning / Project estimation & Budgeting. P&L Management Consult on Agile testing and test automation. Act as a career coach or/and advisor for future leadership subordinates. Help newcomers to speed up and become fully operational in the team
Qualifications
We're looking for a Manager with strong technical background, ideally in Data engineering, machine learning or infrastructure projects. We also looking for a strong management experience, conflict resolution, experience of woring in unclear conditions.
Technical solid proficiency - Bonus points for past programming, big data, Spark/Scala, or analytics experience, including creating requirements/specifications Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines Naturally accountable and responsible. Critical tracts - Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization Strong facilitation skills (Drive complex projects, quarterly and roadmap planning, facilitate requirements sessions, design meetings, progress, and status meetings) Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and ability to see around the corners.Domain Expertise
Data Engineering Background- experience working on projects with a data engineering focus Big Data Technologies and Cloud Services— Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Technical Expertise- Deep technical understanding is necessary for identifying cross-project dependencies. Cross-Functional Project Management -Experience is managing large-scale, cross-functional projects through to completion. Basic Project Management Proficiencies -Essential skills in taking meeting notes, following up on action items, providing status updates, and escalating issues as needed. Proactivity and Risk Management: Skilled in proactive follow-ups with meeting actions and effective risk mitigation. Self-motivation and Adaptability: A self-starter who is result-oriented, with the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments.
