Job Description

• Delivers minimum 2 ILT (Instructor Led Training) per quarter for the Corridor.

• Completes required trainings and 52 per year (4.33 per month) hours timely.

• Ensure understanding and compliance of company controls, policies, processes and procedures.

• Ensure strong knowledge and proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools, especially PDC, Smart Recruiter and Employee Development tools.

• Participate and contribute to the development of the strategic plan for Employee Training and development to create carrier path for employees at all levels.

• Execute department TBP priorities and projects goals.

• Efficient management of the Training & Personnel Development assigned priorities and projects and action plan to increase employee development and employee satisfaction.

• Proactive and efficient communication flow with department Managers and corridor staff accordingly.

• Participate in weekly department meetings and provide projects updates.

• Evaluate training needs of the branch / corridor, develop and implement training programs.

• Training & Development Programs for Agents, Leads and / or Supervisors as per annual plan.

• Effectively manage existing and new training development programs. Conduct effective check-in meetings, resulting in participants engagement in the participation and taking full advantage of the program and the learning.

• Effectively plan and conduct new hire orientation sessions and coordinate with branch staff to ensure

100% completion.

• Deliver Instructor training led courses for all employees based at the Branch/Corridor.

• Support departments to plan training in order to meet training requirements (in compliance with the

Operational Process Standards and company policy).

• Assist management team in determining and following-up on employees personal development plans.

• In liaison with managers provide skills gap analysis within teams and develop individual training plans for employees to address the training needs.

• Effectively lead, coordinate and implement global, regional and external trainings.

• Work with product managers to deliver classroom trainings, on-the-job trainings, branch meetings, conferences, and workshops.

• Deliver training sessions to train new Managers and Supervisors on Training and Personnel development resources such as: Development and recognition programs, and systems and tools such as PDC, Smart Recruiters, formats etc.

• Publish and maintain updated training programs information in SharePoint.

• Publish and communicate the training schedule for the branch/corridor in the PDC at least four weeks as soon as possible depending on the training.

• Advise employees on the training programs available.

• Support the Level 1 trainer certification for supervisors and managers at the Branch/Corridor.

• Ensure that testing and evaluation for training provided by corridor personnel are conducted.

• Assist managers, Supervisors and Leads in developing job descriptions for the different positions to establish consistency of each position’s profile and clear expectations across the Corridor.

• Effectively manage employee recognition programs.

• Effective coordination of the monthly Branch Meetings.

• Post job posting in Smart Recruiters system and follow up with Managers and Supervisors to ensure consistency in the applicability of the process.

• Assist managers in conducting prescreening for potential candidates for organizational and position fit.

• Ensure effective management of pipeline of candidates for current and future employment opportunities, to increase efficiency in the candidate selection process for the corridor.

• Conduct employee surveys as needed.

• Attend monthly Branch Trainer conference calls.

• Participate in MRM and Branch meetings to communicate any trainings updates.

• Assist the Employee Satisfaction Committee in the coordination of the events as needed.

• Actively participate in the optimization of tools and continuously improve the efficiency and quality of

the service to the Corridor personnel.

• Have a mindset of continuous improvement in all processes and programs.

• Escalate necessary issues to Training and Personnel Development Manager, Service manager or

District Manager.

Finance

• Manage execution of credit policy when applicable related to expenses for the T&D programs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills and experience to be the most effective in this position:

• Degree (preferred level): Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 2-3 years of experience in Training and Development Programs, preferred.

• Knowledge of company provided training and development systems and tools

• Ability to conduct instructor led trainings at supervisor and manager level.

• Exhibit a leadership style that empowers, coaches, mentors, and fosters a cohesive team environment always prioritizing employee satisfaction.

• Customer Satisfaction oriented.

• Ability to relate and influence to employees at all levels.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication and presentations.

• Strong project management skills, including planning, time management and attention to detail.

• Ability to complete work within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies.

• Self-driven personality.

• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

• English and Spanish fluency.
