Job Title: LATAM Finance Information Systems Manager

Location: Mexico City, Mexico / Bogotá, Colombia

As a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven culture, providing advanced tools and insights to analyze business performance and facilitate decision making at all levels of the organization.

You will lead performance management processes in LATAM, guaranteeing quality of the databases, building robust reporting tools, and analyzing trends to facilitate insights to improve our marketing strategies. Moreover, you will set up the fundamentals for a transformation of our tools to include advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

Performance Management:

Lead performance management efforts across LATAM.

Develop and improve scorecards for key customers, markets, and categories.

Guarantee accuracy of information and structured processes to manage data.

Partner with the Finance organization to enhance/develop profitability models and support mass data transformation into comprehensive and actionable managerial summaries.

Expand analytics capabilities across commercial teams, promoting a data-driven culture.

Contribute to better decision-making through deeper understanding of business performance through visual representations.

Establish new processes and tools to continuously improve performance management across the region.

Understand business dynamics and contribute with business acumen to provide agile mechanisms to better decision making.

Data-Driven Insights:

Leverage data analytics to identify sales opportunities, understand changing demand, and improve margins.

Correlate business data with objectives to uncover actionable insights.

Assess omnichannel performance and identify areas for improvement.

Evaluate competitor´s performance across markets and categories and identify best practices and insights from an external perspective Utilize BI to gain a competitive edge.

Analytics Tools Development:

Develop and implement BI tools aligned with business requirements.

Evolve current reporting capabilities to more advanced analytics (ex. From descriptive analytics to prescriptive analytics)

Partner with global team on implementing global models to support LATAM needs

Test new advanced models in specific use cases to gather knowledge and learnings to evolve this agenda.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Finance or related field

Knowledge of data management tools and processes (ex. data governance and architecture)

Data harmonization experience to connect data sets in partnership with IT teams and other areas of the business.

Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Business understanding to create compelling visualizations for data-driven decision-making.

Strong analytical skills to interpret data patterns and correlations.

Ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Familiarity with advanced tools and their application in analytics (machine learning, AI, etc).

Understanding of data science and architecture to develop predictive modeling.

Strong collaboration approach across diverse teams and regions.

Influencing skills to drive performance culture.

Leadership skills to guide performance initiatives.
