Your Role

As the Marketing Manager for Mexico/LATAM, you will lead the creation and execution of localized consumer marketing campaigns across all ZURU Toys brands. Your goal is to drive product sales and create impactful, enduring brand experiences.

Core Roles And Responsibilities

Strategic and Tactical Marketing: Collaborate on the strategic development and execution of local marketing plans for all ZURU toys, aligning with established brand positioning and market vision. Agency Management: Oversee local agencies and partners, including media, translation, and VOD partners. Campaign Effectiveness: Evaluate marketing campaigns, conduct postmortem analyses, present key insights, and understand local consumer behaviors and demographics. Creative Presentations: Develop presentations that summarize brand and marketing activities in visually compelling ways. Creative Brief Development: Craft creative briefs for global brand teams and media agencies for digital, print, TV, web, and other campaigns. Global Collaboration: Work with global brand teams on digital, social, and influencer marketing. Process Management: Design and implement processes to connect global teams with local needs, driving POS and increasing market share. Licensor Coordination: Provide regular updates on marketing plans to licensors and identify potential partnerships. Budget Management: Ensure adherence to commercial budgets and proper invoice processing for marketing and trade marketing activities. Trade Marketing Leadership: Lead trade marketing initiatives in Mexico, working closely with the country manager and sales team. Distributor Support: Coach and facilitate LATAM distributor partners to maintain brand consistency and effective marketing spend. Event Management: Provide support for event management, including developing brand signage and collateral. Product Launch Coordination: Collaborate with brand/commercial teams on product launches and retail exclusives, adjusting marketing plans as needed. Trend and Data Reporting: Conduct weekly reviews and reports on trends, sales data, and consumer behaviors. Global Campaign Integration: Manage relationships with global marketing teams to develop local campaign assets and ensure alignment with brand initiatives.

Skills And Experiences Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 5-7 years of experience in consumer or brand marketing, preferably in the toys industry. Advanced understanding of marketing techniques, including social media, digital, and influencer marketing. Knowledge of the retail landscape in the assigned region(s). Proficiency in project management. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and planning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, Excel, G Suite; Figma experience is a plus. Highly organized, efficient, and adaptable in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment. Experience with digital marketing tactics, planning, and reporting. Ability to work effectively across teams, departments, and third parties, with a willingness to work in different time zones and travel as needed. Exceptional attention to detail.
