Planifica, dirige y coordina procesos de fabricación que incluyen mecanizado, montaje y pruebas. Desarrolla, evalúa y mejora los métodos de fabricación, utilizando conocimientos de diseño de productos, materiales y piezas, procesos de fabricación, herramientas y producción. Analiza y mejora la calidad, el coste y la entrega utilizando herramientas Lean y Six Sigma. Proporciona apoyo de ingeniería en los departamentos de producción mediante la resolución de problemas técnicos.
Responsabilidades y requisitos:
- Investiga propuestas de proyectos/equipos de capital, desarrolla la justificación, prepara solicitudes de gastos, adquiere equipos, instala equipos y garantiza que se alcancen los objetivos de justificación.
- Colabora con los supervisores de fabricación para alcanzar las metas y objetivos de Flowserve.
- Especifica y adquiere suministros de fábrica que reducen costes y mejoran la eficacia.
- Garantiza la disponibilidad de programas CNC para apoyar nuevos productos y requisitos de los clientes.
- Ayuda en la formación, instrucción y mantenimiento de una base flexible de conocimientos de programación CNC y herramientas.
- Garantiza la disponibilidad de herramientas y dispositivos para satisfacer la demanda de los clientes.
- Soluciona problemas de procesos y equipos para minimizar los retrasos en los programas de producción.
- Ayuda a desarrollar el plan de beneficios y el plan estratégico de fabricación. Realiza el seguimiento de los proyectos de capital asignados y del estado de los gastos para garantizar su finalización a tiempo y dentro del presupuesto.
- Se mantiene al corriente de los nuevos avances en el campo de los equipos, herramientas y métodos de las máquinas herramienta. Recomienda soluciones innovadoras cuando las aplicaciones son viables para mejorar el rendimiento y la calidad.
- Comprende y apoya todos los objetivos de la empresa y realiza las tareas delegadas por la dirección.
- Aplica las normas de seguridad asegurándose de que el utillaje, las herramientas y el proceso cumplen todas las normativas OSHA aplicables.
- Aplica las políticas medioambientales de Flowserve asegurándose de que los procesos cumplen todas las normativas medioambientales aplicables. Se informa a los subcontratistas de las políticas medioambientales aplicables de Flowserve y se les gestiona de acuerdo con dichas políticas.
- Demuestra la capacidad y voluntad de trabajar en equipo.
- Trata a todos los clientes y compañeros de trabajo con respeto.

Experiencia / habilidades preferidas:
- Experiencia demostrada en liderar e impulsar reducciones de costes en un entorno de fabricación utilizando Metodologías de Mejora Continua.
- Experiencia en un entorno de fabricación.
- Capacidad para leer e interpretar documentos como normas de seguridad, planos de ingeniería, instrucciones de funcionamiento y mantenimiento, y procedimientos.
- Capacidad para redactar correspondencia rutinaria y técnica.
- Capacidad para hablar con eficacia ante grupos de clientes o empleados de la organización.
- Capacidad para comprender y aplicar principios de geometría avanzada, trigonometría, álgebra moderna y teoría estadística avanzada.
- Capacidad para definir problemas, recopilar datos, establecer hechos y extraer conclusiones válidas.
- Experiencia en la interpretación de diversas instrucciones técnicas en forma matemática o de diagrama y en el manejo de diversas variables abstractas y concretas.
- Licenciatura o grado en el campo pertinente y 5-7 años de experiencia pertinente.
