**Pricing Analyst**We are hiring a **Pricing Analyst **who will be responsible for supporting pricing decisions in North America through analyzing specific projects, maintaining logs (yield, checkbook, program spending) and providing reports related to pricing (rebates, periodic metrics, targets, etc.).**What you will be doing**:- Provides support for marketing programs such as annual Price List Adjustments and discretionary transactional incentive programs. Works with several groups within the company including Resource Managers, Strategic Accounts representatives, Finance, SFA, IT, Product Marketing.- Supports field sales, managers of pricing and contracts, and resource managers by evaluating and analyzing specific projects and their profitability. Provides recommendations based on price relative to targets, prior precedents and cost analysis.- Maintains and reports logs that capture pricing related programs or incentives including Yield Log and Checkbook. Reports rebate activity and coordinates payment through Finance.- Provides implementation support to product marketing for price list adjustments or other marketing programs.- Continually improves processes related to pricing administration and reporting.- Conducts analysis and special projects as requested.**Who you are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Administration, Finance, Marketing or related.- 1-3 year experience in a similar role- Advanced written and oral English- Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- You have the ability to conduct financial analysis and develop and utilize financial tools.- You are able to work in fast paced environment and high demand environment- Must possess strong analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving and organizational skills.- Should be self-motivated, creative, innovative and a team player.**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
