The- SME acts as a conduit between field sales, field systems engineering teams, and Veeam/Lenovo crossfunctional- product groups, and this senior technical sales role is heavily involved in guiding Lenovo sales- teams in including data management in current hardware solutions. The SME also serves as an- escalation point for partner solutions and sales teams, as well as the Pre-Sales Organization.- Subject Matter Expert in Data Management with emphasis on Veeam, with a deep understanding of- Veeam products & technologies and/or similar technologies- sellers.- Formulate Veeam strategies to integrate product into complex customer / partner environments- (use cases).- Work with GEO sales and technical leadership to train field resources on approved solutions with- both new and existing products.- Work with product and alliance management for any customer and/or partner requirements for- Veeam and Lenovo products.- Enable the global field (primarily field sales and SEs) by providing on-going consultation, knowledge- transfer, and best practices, and support competitive positioning.- Provide insight to current trends and competitive challenges. Translate complex technical concepts- into business terms that result in solution selling and pipeline. Make recommendations to capture- share and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
