SAP Variant Configuration Engineer

Nogales, MX, 84069- May 29, 2025**POSITION OVERVIEW**- dormakaba is seeking a SAP Variant Configuration Engineer based in Nogales, MX. The SAP Variant Configuration Engineer is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of SAP product model configurations (Variant Configuration or VC) in dormakaba’s Americas region. The role requires excellent communication skills and insight to interpret business requirements from technical and non-technical teams. Requirements must then be translated into system data model logic.**WHAT YOU WILL DO**- Participate in a team environment creating and maintaining SAP VC model data through project assignments and sustaining requests- Develop VC objects- dependencies, variant tables, price conditions, constraints, knowledge base, classes, BOMs, routings, profiles. Test, transport ALE/PDR, and document change management.- Troubleshoot and resolve product configuration issues in sales orders, production orders, and front end upstream front end processes such as Salesforce quoting.**WHAT WE REQUIRE**- Bachelor’s Degree, in relevant business or technical discipline preferred- Experience with SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC) design and implementation- Excellent communicator, able to interface professionally with cross functional teams- Experience with data analysis, data cleansing, Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) methodologies- Excellent MS Office skills with emphasis on MS Excel or Power BI; including working with large sets of data, pivot tables, lookup formulas, power queries**WHAT WE PREFER**- Experience or exposure to Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and the differences between LO-VC and AVC- Experience working for manufacturing companies, ISO 9001 or 14001 compliance experience preferred- Active membership and conference attendance to SAP Configuration Workgroup (CWG), a plus.- Experience with SAP master data (materials, customers, vendors, pricing conditions) and integration of VC within SAP modules (SD, PP, FICO)- Technical writing and procedural documentation skills**WHAT WE OFFER**- Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
