Job TitleSpecialist Senior Commercial BI.Position PurposeAnalyze business trends, opportunities and recommend potential solutions focused on categories and marketing efforts; analyze merch data for accuracy; responsible for elaborating reports and suport on Comm Merch & Mkt team requests; present data and solutions to team members and other departments as needed. Perform well under high pressure and react quickly to adhoc request of business information; interdisciplinary work with other departments and share data; organized and manage projects to completion. Position acts as lead and supports other analysts on team and other departments, on Comm Merch matters.Primary Accountabilities- Development of reports/processes based on monitoring the results of the strategies.- Maintenance of existing reports (SAS, Excel, SQL), minor and major changes in the layout and logic, or history generation.- Generation of information for requests from area VP, MLT, Commercial Directors and other departments.- Analyze business results, track sales, promotions, discounts, GM, and recommend solutions for deviations.- Help the Commercial team to develop new strategies based on numerical intelligence.Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: An associate degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.Area of Study: Marketing, Actuarial science, Math, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similarYears of Experience: Five to seven years.Type of Experience: Strong analytical experience and extensive knowledge of SQL, Strong human relations, problem solving and knowledge of MS Office.Other/Preferred: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, established time management, prioritization and organizational skills, Self-motivated to deliver results and demonstrates high level of integrity.
