The Product team leads the transformation of ideas through research, design, development, marketing, and sales, unleashing the transformative power of sound and delivering the best products on the market.**Job Description**:In this Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer role, the collaborator will execute Supplier Quality core processes according with Automotive standards and Customer Specific Requirements. As a Senior level will be asked to support management to improve processes and maintain quality metrics and define new metrics as needed.The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer will need to have strong background on Project management, Problem solving methodology, Teamwork and a very solid continuous Improvement mindset as this position requires very close collaboration with our supplier base to initiate improvement projects toward reducing quality incidents due to components at both internal and end customer.For this position it is required to have clear knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing processes and testing.Activities/ Experience:- Be part of the supplier selection process by establishing Supplier Quality Agreement and confirm manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement mindset through a process control Audit.- Lead supplier engineering activities to complete Supplier PPAP for new components into new programs for Automotive products.- Revision and Validation of Process Change Notifications (PCN) from our supplier base to assure changes made by suppliers will not have any impact from a quality/cost perspective.- Support Customer Quality Eng. team from North America, Europe, and Japan to escalate quality cases with our suppliers to assure adequate response time and quality of the 8D.- Clear understanding of Semiconductor manufacturing processes is needed for both wafer fab (Front End) and Test & Assembly (Back End).- Definition of strategic projects to reduce Automotive Quality PPM by identifying key supplier on specific components being main contributors.- Clear understanding of Automotive Standards IATF16949, ISO 9001.- Strong Knowledge of statistical tools for problem resolution (8D, PDCA, DMAIC, DOE) and APQP tools (MSA, PCP, PFMEA, PPAP).- Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in Automotive Business environment as a Supplier Quality Engineer.- Must have experience in electrical commodities- Able to travel to North America and Asia**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical or Industrial engineering- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum)- Bilingual: English & Spanish (90%)If you believe you need a reasonable accommodation, please send a note to
