We are in search of a seasoned **Product Owner**to take on a strategic leadership role, driving the development and prioritization of product backlogs for a dynamic team while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. You will focus on balancing the enhancement of legacy systems, the migration to a modern SaaS platform, and contributing to organizational strategy by leveraging cross-team collaboration and Agile best practices.**Responsibilities**- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and departmental leaders to gather and refine high-level requirements for features needed in legacy systems- Coordinate with migration teams and other departments to ensure legacy systems and new platforms are compatible and smoothly integrated- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap, translating business strategy into actionable plans and detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria- Own and prioritize product backlogs for multiple projects, ensuring deliverables align with strategic business objectives and deadlines- Act as the central liaison between development teams, senior stakeholders, and management, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across all parties- Drive Agile processes at scale, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination across distributed teams- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment between teams working on legacy systems, modern platforms, and organizational strategy- Lead risk assessments, identifying and addressing technical and operational challenges while developing mitigation plans- Support quality assurance processes during feature testing, demos, and releases, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet business needs on time- Mentor junior product owners and team members, fostering professional growth and cultivating leadership within the product team**Requirements**:- Extensive experience in product management and ownership roles with 8+ years of IT experience in enterprise environments- At least 3 years in middle management or relevant leadership roles, such as Lead Product Manager, Product Owner Manager, or equivalent- Proven expertise in building and managing complex product backlogs across multiple streams of work and priorities- Advanced understanding of Scrum methodologies, SAFe practices, and Agile workflows across distributed and cross-functional teams- Technical proficiency with REST APIs, SQL, or similar tools to effectively collaborate with development teams and refine requirements- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and achieve alignment across stakeholders- Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging technologies and evolving business processes in a dynamic environment- English language proficiency at an Advanced level (C1) with exceptional communication abilities in both written and verbal mediums**Nice to have**- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and experience working with messaging platforms like Kafka in distributed systems- Ability to interpret and provide input on architectural diagrams to ensure seamless interaction between system components- Hands-on experience with API integration platforms such as Apigee or Mulesoft, incorporating best practices for securing and managing APIs- Demonstrated ability to lead feature demonstrations, including conducting API tests with tools like Postman and presenting UI workflows to stakeholders- Experience in large-scale legacy-to-modern system migrations within enterprise environments, supporting both technical and operational phases**We offer**- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Monthly non-taxable amount for the electricity and internet billsEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development servi
