**Technology Innovation Engineer - Electronics**:**Would you like to promote and drive key initiatives to identify and develop strategical technological transformations?**:**Do you like working in collaborative teams and solving technical problems?**:**Be part of our Research and Technology team****Partner with the best**As a Technology Innovation Engineer - Electronics, you will be responsible for:- Scouting and evaluation in the field of Robotics and Automation, Power Supply and Power Electronics, Solid State devices, Semiconductors- Performing horizon scanning to scout for new and emerging technologies to build and sustain the future of TPS products and solutions.- Evaluating new and emerging technologies, through comparative analyses with state-of-the-art solutions and up-to-date technologies.- Looking at synergies/integration with current and future product offering, identify technology injection opportunities, development of innovative solutions and potential disruptions.- Evaluating potential external technology collaborations, partners and suppliers.**Fuel your passion***To be successful in this role you will:- Have a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, Robotic Engineering or equivalent STEM degree- Have experience matured in Robotics and automation, power supply and power electronics, solid state devices, semiconductors.- Have sound problem-solving and analytical skills.- Be fluent in English.- Have oral and written communication and solid presentation skills.- Be open to new ideas, curious, creative and inclusive- Be dynamic, self-starter and with an entrepreneurial mindset.Desired characteristics- Have a PhD in a STEM degree.**Work in a way that works for you**We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.**Working with us**Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
