**POSITION: CUSTOMER SERVICE & BUYER Jr****Job Summary**:Serves as the direct point of contact with the customer and coordinates regular production requirements.Place POs, Validate Lead Times and MOQs**Responsibilities: Assist Customer Service Manager with the following activities**:- Receives and responds to customer inquiries, handles complaints related to shipments, and notifies relevant departments of any changes in customer requirements.- Receives and processes customer purchase orders for regular production, miscellaneous items, and NPIs.- Informs the customer of the status of their purchase orders and shipments.- Monitors all order entries related to production and prototype orders in the Macola system.- Analyzes customer demand and notifies planning and purchasing departments of any variations.- Follows up with planning to ensure orders are scheduled on time and appropriately.- Responsible for sending order confirmations to customers, either in PDF or through the portal as applicable.- Attend the daily production meeting.- Daily updates to the Open Sales Order Report- Monthly analysis of the Open Sales Order Report for existing backlog, Open Orders and Future requirements**Responsibilities: Assist Sr. Planner buyer with the following activities**:- PO placing (US Side), analysis of the demand & decide to do the PO placing with US and Mexican suppliers- Contact suppliers for status on Open Purchase orders- Review discrepancies between PO receipts and PO invoices- Expedite orders accordingly or push out orders as need it- Support to the Quality Team on any rejection with information such as PO, Supplier, Contact Point, Etc- Learned the Macola system and obtain familiarity with our standard of manufacturing- Assure suppliers comply with safety and quality alignments within company standards- Strong Analytical decision making- Work with Excess and Obsolete materials**Requirements**:- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service in a Manufacturing setting preferred.- Knowledge in MRP, Buyer, Planning and Excel formulas- Analytical skills.- Bilingual (Spanish-English).- Proficient in MS Office.- Negotiation skills.- Effective communication.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $1,300.00 - $1,450.00 al díaBeneficios:- Caja de ahorro- Estacionamiento de la empresa- Opción a contrato indefinido- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro dental- Seguro de vida- Servicio de comedor- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldo- Vales de despensaLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
