Investment professionals work closely with both the senior management team at GA and at our global portfolio companies. Investment professionals have significant responsibility in identifying new investment opportunities, conducting diligence, supporting deal evaluation and execution, and advising portfolio companies on strategic matters. Responsibilities include:- Developing industry expertise through market mapping, research, due diligence and networking in order to identify and assess prospective investment opportunities- Serving as a key member of the investment team throughout buy-side transactions; collaborating with other Investment Professionals to:- Build financial models and valuation analyses- Conduct thorough company and industry due diligence- Prepare and defend investment theses to the internal Investment Committee- Performing data check and reviewing legal and financial documents to ensure accuracy- Work collaboratively with experts and advisors on deal management, diligence, structuring, and negotiations- Supporting firm-wide strategic objectives such as supporting portfolio companies on value-creation initiatives, executing financings and public offerings, developing new business opportunities, and negotiating partnerships- Working in partnership with GA Investment Support teams and other Operations team to track portfolio company data and performanceQualifications include:- Undergraduate degree required- Native fluency in Spanish required- 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, PE/VC and/or Consulting; prior financial modeling required- Record of achievement in academic and professional settings- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Intellectual curiosity and desire to collaborate with colleagues globally- Entreprenurial mindsetGeneral Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law.COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements: To protect the health and safety of our employees, General Atlantic requires all employees in our U.S. offices to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by their date of hire, and considers reasonable accommodation requests as required by law
